In this four class course, students will learn the names of several animals and how they can be described in Spanish. This is a beginner course and is not full immersion. Students should take this course after Basics 1 and Basics 2.

Class Experience

Students will have a basic understanding of Spanish grammar and phonics.  Students will be able to make simple sentences using the vocabulary from this unit.
My name is Brandi Guzman.  I have 12 years of teaching experience as a P-12 Spanish teacher in a Public School System.  I also have over a year of experience teaching English online to students in other countries.  I love teaching students of all ages.  Learning a second language opens the door to many exciting adventures!
There will be a short homework assignment each day, leading up to a project to be presented on the last day of the camp.  Homework should not take more than 15 minutes to complete.  The project should not take more than 30 minutes to complete.

Progress will be assessed informally during the final project presentation.
3 hours per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
