Students will be able to identify the vowel name and sound for each short vowel. Students will be able to read CVC words. Students will be able to write CVC words.
I am a licensed teacher specializing in Preschool through 6th grade, as well as Early Childhood Special Education. I have 10 years of experience teaching Preschool, Kindergarten, and First Grade. I learned about the Science of Reading through LETRS certification.
Leaners should know letter names and sounds before taking this class. They should also have some experience blending sounds to read CVC words.
