In this class, students are introduced to Claude Monet and the Impressionist movement. This movement was influenced by new technology such as photography and the paint tube. Students will follow along step-by-step with the teacher to create their own Impressionist themed art piece. Students are encouraged to engage through asking questions, showing their progress and adding their own feedback to questions. After finishing their weekly masterpiece, students are encouraged to share their art piece with the class via the classroom board. Recordings are made available after each class for students to refer back to what was covered in class, terminology and different painting techniques.
