Class Experience

We will have fun listening to songs and looking at the art featured in the Animal Crossing New Horizons game.

In the first part of each session we will:
- Listen to different styles of music both from and relating to the game.
- Investigate famous paintings featured in the game and their real life artists.
- Do animal crossing related activities based on the theme of the day.

We’ll answer questions like:
- Are the songs famous in real life or are the songs pretend?
- How can we use music to make our islands more interesting?
- Is the art real or fake? How can we tell the difference?
- Who are the artists whose paintings are featured in the game?
- What are the musical instruments available in Animal Crossing?
- Do you have a music room in your island house?

*In the second half of each day, you’ll be given a Dodo Code and we will have different on island activities including trading diy recipes, cataloguing items and playing fun games!

There are so many fun things that we can do!

*Please note, it is possible to attend class without playing the game. I will always have game cam possibilities to allow students without online game access to participate in activities this way.
