Each day, a new beach themed art project will be created as directed by the teacher. Samples will be posted in the classroom for students to see beforehand for inspiration. Students can expect to make projects such as: Monday: Planes Over Land; line art Tuesday: Sandcastle Wednesday: Beach Huts Thursday: Friday: Paddleboard/Surfboad Collage
Students will learn and apply the elements of art and principles of design as they make their creations. They will learn to use a variety of art mediums.
Materials needed for this camp: ( A daily detailed list will be included on the classroom page) 6 pieces of art paper; thick sulphite paper or mixed media, watercolor paint set, brushes, crayons or oil pastels, assorted colors of sharpie markers, brown paper or brown paper bag, chalk pastels, assorted construction paper, glue, scissors, and masking tape. Any project PDFs will be included on the Classroom page as well closer to the start of camp.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
5 hours per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
