Description
Class Experience
In this class students will learn about four influential Pop Artists, their art and the movement which effected the art world. Each day students will create an art piece based on a pop artist using similar materials and methodology. Students will learn a variety of art techniques and will learn how to clean their art area and tools. Students will learn a terminology including repetition and mixed media. Day 1: White paper Pencil Eraser Black Sharpie Markers or Colored Pencils Day 2: White Paper Pencil Eraser Oil Pastels Day 3: Watercolor Paper Watercolor Paint Brush Oil Pastels Pencil Eraser Cup with Water Day 4: Full Page Magazine Image or Print out Glue Pencil Eraser Drawing Paper Scissors Markers or Colored Pencils
4 hours per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Scissors will be used for day 4. Please make sure your student feels comfortable using them or be available to supervise and help, if needed. Parents, please keep in mind that per Outschool’s rule’s parents are not allowed on camera.
