In this camp, the students will learn all about the different kinds of penguins. The students will share what they know about penguins at the beginning of class. The students will then learn where each type of penguin lives and find their homes on the map. They will learn about the size of penguins, what they eat, how they care for their young, and their different homes. The students will compare and contrast the different kinds of penguins. Then they will pick their favorite penguin of the day. Day 1: The students will learn about the penguins that live in Antarctica including the emperor penguins, Adelie penguins, gentoo penguins, chinstrap penguins, macaroni penguins, king penguins, and rockhopper penguins. Day 2. The students will learn about African penguins, snares penguins, erect crested penguins, royal penguins, Fiordland penguins, and white-flippered penguins. Day 3: The students will learn about the Galapagos penguins, Humboldt penguins, Magellanic penguins, yellow-eyed penguins, and the little blue penguins.

I love to use my degrees in psychology, history, political science, and biology to help students learn. I teach reading, ESL, history, and science classes.
