In this camp, the students will learn all about the different kinds of marsupials. The students will share what they know about marsupials at the beginning of class. The students will then learn where each type of marsupial lives and find their homes on the map. They will learn about the size of the marsupial, what they eat, how they care for their young, and their different homes. The students will compare and contrast the different kinds of marsupials. Then they will pick their favorite marsupial of the day. Day 1: The students will learn about kangaroos, wallabies, and wallaroos. Day 2: The students will learn about koalas, wombat, Tasmanian devils, gliders, and bandicoots. Day 3: The students will learn about some opossums, cuscus, bilbies, native cat, and the mole marsupial.

I am a certified early childhood, elementary education, and reading specialist. I have been a teacher for over seventeen years. I have taught English as a second language for over six years. I love to use my degrees in psychology, history, political science, and biology to help students learn. I teach reading, ESL, history, and science classes.
