Description
Class Experience
Dancers will build control through body awareness and improve memorization and musicality through dance combinations. Overall, the primary goal of this camp is to have fun and stay active!
I have been studying dance for 25 years and am a firm believer that we must start with the fundamentals to build success! Dance teaches control, precision, and self-discipline while providing both physical fitness and mental stimulation. I love helping dancers find self-discipline and aid in building their confidence for life.
Dancers are encouraged to practice their technique and stretch each day.
1 file available upon enrollmentDancers will need access to: • athletic clothing for ease of movement • a water bottle for hydration • a sturdy chair/dresser/counter to use as a "barre" for ballet • a smooth surfaced floor (wood, laminate, tile, etc) Great additions: • hair neatly pulled back away from the face • dance shoes are encouraged but not needed!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
3 hours 40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Please ensure your dancer has a clean space that is free of distractions and potential trip hazards.
