This camp will be fun, relaxed and positive. The students will be guided step by step on how to draw a gown. Each day is a different gown: Princess, Flower Cascade, Halter and Off the Shoulder Fishtail. With each design I will explain the different parts that make up that gown. They will learn how to draw a princess neckline, spaghetti straps, scalloped edges, gathered shirt, train, flowers, cascade drape, halter neckline, strapless neckline and a fishtail skirt. I will be showing them step by step how to draw the body. After the drawing is complete they will then think about the person who is wearing this dress and decide the color palette and pattern fabric that they will use and then color the dress. At the end of class there will be sharing time; a time to point out what they like about their creation.
