Hands on workshop in which students will design and build a website and blog (no prior coding knowledge required). They will also learn how to monetize their ideas and generate revenue. Each student will make their own unique website.

Are you ready to start your own business and learn how to make it successful? In this class, you’ll brainstorm ideas for a business, learn how to select a profitable niche and plan and launch your own business! I will also be teaching you how to pitch your product/business confidently and effectively - whether to investors, customers, or even family - and to design a fully-functional professional website. This class is lots of fun but also fast-paced. Sites are build using Wix. We also use Printful and Canva in this class. Businesses launched by past students include: a leather goods online store, a website for a science fair website, made-to-order cupcakes, dog walking with an online booking form, a digital comic book, a fashion blog, a gardening blog, a personal ‘about me’ website and a resume website. Brainstorming ideas, defining value propositioning and target demographic!
Sharing ideas, providing feedback and developing a business plan. 50 mins online live lesson
Lesson 2:
Picking a color scheme, theme and font family. Building our front page.
No prior coding knowledge is required. I will teach students everything they need to know to build great websites. 50 mins online live lesson
Lesson 3:
Creating a logo and adding products. Building a Pricing matrix.
Students will add a minimum of two products and create a pricing matrix for each so as to learn how to price our products appropriately. They will also design a high quality logo for their business using a Graphic Design software. 50 mins online live lesson
Lesson 4:
Setting up a chat widget and Coupon codes! I just got my first lead, now what?
How to handle sales and discounts and offer excellent customer service. 50 mins online live lesson
