Description

Class Experience

The Sunday prior to the week, I will post the coloring pages to be printed for our dinosaurs, and a reminder of the needed materials for the activities/crafts. Please keep in mind that the breakdown below of materials needed is for the entire week...not necessarily for one day. Materials needed: Day 1 --- a paper plate, stegosaurus name template (provided by the teacher), paint/markers/crayons, glue, scissors, and colored construction paper. Day 2 --- baking soda, white vinegar, water, plastic wrap, food coloring, small plastic dinosaurs, eyedropper/pipette, and freezer. Day 3 --- plenty of colored construction paper (teacher will provide a photo at the beginning of the week for necessary precut out shapes needed), glue, and scissors. Day 4 --- white Elmers glue, saline solution, food coloring, baking soda, white vinegar, small glass, small container, spoon or stirring stick, and glass dish or large rectangular container for playing.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour 40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parental guidance will be needed as learners may need to use scissors during our crafting portion of class.
