Class Experience

We are certified and insured yoga teachers registered with the Yoga Alliance. We all have multiple years of experience teaching children's yoga in studios and online. All Yoga Kid Collective teachers have been trained in the curriculum and have experience drawing and teaching drawing.
For yoga & mindfulness, you will only need a mat and a nice, open space free of hazards. Water is recommended. For the art project, here are the supplies for each day: Day 1: Campfire Marker Drawing + white paper + black marker + colored markers + ruler or straight edge (optional) Day 2: Baby Deer Pencil Drawing + white paper + colored pencils +1 regular pencil with eraser (optional) Day 3: River Watercolor + white paper + watercolor paints + small paint brushes + black pencil/marker Day 4: Mountain Chalk Drawing + black or white paper + white or colored chalk Day 5: Night Sky with Watercolor & Wax Resist + white paper + white crayon (or lighter color like yellow, light blue, etc.) + watercolor paints + small paint brushes
6 hours 15 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Whenever students are performing yoga as part of a fitness routine, please be advised of any potential hazards (including, but not limited to, needing an open workout space, slip proof socks or bare feet, a mat, and proper clothing ). Injuries can occur if not properly supervised, such as slips or bumps. This entire camp is secular, meaning there is no mention of religion or spiritualism.
