Class Experience


Welcome to Camp Creative Writing 2022! 

We will meet Monday thru Thursday for fun writing experiences that spark creativity and create opportunities for learners to practice their writing skills. 

Each day we will focus on a different aspect of narrative writing, including characterization, setting, and plot structure. 

By the end of class on Thursday, your learner will have new creative writing techniques and several wacky and fun stories they will be proud to share with friends and...

1. Students will appreciate creative writing as a form of artistic expression.
2. When writing, students will plan, pay attention to details, organize their thinking, reflect upon and enhance their communication skills. 
3. Students will increase vocabulary awareness.

No homework will be required.

Students are asked to bring materials best suited to their writing style - either paper and pencil, or a tablet for typing. Either is fine with me.

2 hours 40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
