If you enroll and the minimum number of students is not reached, you will be refunded in full or transferred to another section of your choice. Each day of this 5-day summer camp will be packed with a daily health talk, practicing movement for strength and flexibility, games, and activities as kids also work on their health and nutrition journals throughout the week. I teach my classes with colorful slides that I create myself. I like to engage the kids in the conversation and have them share as much as possible. This particular camp allows for even more time for kids to share their progress and successes as they learn to make excellent health choices. At the end of the week, your child will have a treasure book of health and nutrition information along with a sense of accomplishment from what they have learned. Please make sure to check the classroom each day for printouts your student may need for homework or in class. Don't miss this important (and fun) opportunity to encourage your child toward a healthier lifestyle. I look forward to seeing your student in Camp Boss! *Looking for a class time that works better for you? Please contact me with a class time request and I'll see what I can do.

Other Details
Supply List
Students will need a notebook of some kind for this class. I recommend a three-ring binder or folder with brads so that papers can be inserted and removed as needed. I'll supply links for journal pages, worksheets, and coloring pages. Students may want to use notebook paper to add their own material to their journals. Pencils, pens, markers, colored pencils, and crayons can all be used to enhance the student's notebook.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Teacher expertise and credentials
Bachelor's Degree from Texas A&M University
I’ve been studying health and nutrition on my own for over ten years. I became interested in it when I was experiencing my own health problems and was looking for answers outside of medication. In November of 2019, I began my studies and received my health coach certification from the Primal Health Coach Institute in the spring of 2020. I have also run several nutrition groups on social media and have helped friends and family members to clean up their diets and improve their health.
