In this one-time class, students will learn all about animal camouflage. They will also draw and create their own camouflage animal throughout the class as they discover different methods by which animals camouflage themselves. During the lesson, we will define camouflage and students will learn how and why animals camouflage. Students will view a slide presentation as they see if they can find the animals in disguise. Short video clips will also be viewed to show how quickly some animals can change their camouflage in different surroundings. At the end of class, we will play a game reviewing the information presented in the lesson. This will be a fun and engaging course where students will be able to draw and learn about all things camouflage.
