Class Experience

This is a restorative nighttime yoga. It will prepare the body for sleep; stretching out the aches from the day, and calming the breath and mind. For the 35min of class we will go through restorative stretches and finish with a meditation focusing on relaxation. Each pose will be held for three deep collective breaths, allowing the heart-rate to stay steady and calm; this promotes a better and easier sleep.
This class is structured as a regular yoga class, I will guide and demonstrate the poses as the learners follow. I will guide a short breathing meditation and then go into the physical practice. I allow for the learners to ask questions before and after class if they need, allowing for an open conversation.

Learning Goals

Students will prepare their bodies for sleep and learn to control their breath.
