Description

Class Experience

Students will become familiar with the characters and stories from A.A. Milne's Winnie-The-Pooh.
Students will get practice in listening, summarizing, and asking questions about stories.
Students will learn basic literary comprehension strategies, like describing characters and events.
I have a Master's in literature, am in the last semester of my elementary teaching credential program, and am a substitute teacher for children aged 3-18.
I also have extensive community theatre and radio experience, and enjoy reading aloud.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
A.A. Milne's original "Pooh" stories promote kindness and friendship, and are appropriate for young children.
