Class Experience

Perfect for the beginner painter! Learn how to paint a fireplace with Christmas decorations all around. 
Teacher will paint along and show every step! 
By the end of the class, you will have your own magical holiday masterpiece! 
Colors we will definitely need: black, white, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, brown. Having more colors on hand is great! 
We will start with a detailed pencil sketch. Please make sure that you have a pencil.
After the sketch is complete, we will use acrylic paints to create a beautiful picture.
During this class, we will learn how to mix the colors and add some shading. 

When we are finished, little artists will have an opportunity to show their masterpieces to others! 
**Depending on the number of students and their skill level, this class might end a few minutes early or run 5-20 minutes extra.**

Supply List

-Pencil and Eraser
-canvas, canvas board or mixed media paper.  (Please keep in mind your little artist's abilities. Younger kids might have a difficult time covering a large surface.) 
-Acrylic paints: white, black, red, yellow, orange, blue, green, brown. ( This is a minimum)
-A palette - any dish we could use for mixing colors (I often use a paper plate or a plastic lid) Keep in mind, acrylics could be permanent, so no fine dishes. ;)
--Cup with water and a paper towel or a piece of cloth for cleaning brushes
-Various brushes. We will need at least one small (pointy) brush, one medium brush and one large brush, but more brushes are nice to have.
