Class Experience

Ever wanted to sail the seas like a pirate, digging up buried treasure and raiding ancient vaults of gold? Sea of Thieves is a popular MMO for XBox and PC. Join me and other learners as we sail together to discover all that the Sea of Thieves game has to offer. Depending on the number of students, we will be sailing anything from a sloop to a galleon from island to island as we avoid the dangers of the open seas like skeleton ships, megalodons, Krakens, and even other pirates!

Community Day is a day for the whole community of Sea of Thieves to come together and have a good time. We will be all working towards rewards that the whole community will benefit from. These will include:
 - Free emotes
 - A free community day flag
 - Free fireworks
 - And increased chance of finding Ancient Skeletons which give you Ancient Coins to use in the Pirate Emporium
 - Increased gold and reputation multiplier for all activities
 - And lots of rewards for the community
In this session, we will set out in search of adventure together. Many events are happening all over the seas, like ghostly pirate ships, forts overrun by skeletons, sunken ships, vaults of gold, or ashen pirate lords! Adventurers will have a chance to build their reputation with the Gold Hoarders, Order of Souls, or the Merchants Alliance as we sail under their banner and turn in our treasure for gold!

We will be focused on cooperative play and having fun in the game. New players are welcome and encouraged to join! Learners must have purchased the game and have it downloaded and updated before class time. Learners must share their profiles with the instructor ahead of time so we may all join the same party.
Learning Goals
We will be learning cooperative play, strategy, and even some sailing terms!

Welcome adventurers! My name is Daniel and I'm glad have found one of my many gaming classes. I love to tell stories and adventure with others, so that is mainly what most of my classes are centered around. I teach all kinds of classes with various types of games. My interest is mostly in team building games and stress that goal heavily in my classes.

I have been playing video games and tabletop games for a long time now. I am here to have fun and tell stories together! My goal is to provide a safe and fun environment for everyone to be themself!
