Do you love to travel and try new foods wherever you go? Well, I am going to bring a little bit of Canada right into your home through this fun Outschool class! Born and raised in Canada, and well traveled throughout the country, I am going to introduce you to some of the most popular and unique dishes, snacks, and drinks that Canadians love which differ widely based on which part of the country they hail from. We will begin by introducing ourselves, where we are from, and share what our favourite foods are! We will then talk about some unique or traditional Canadian Foods and the history of these foods, as we look at mouth-watering slides together. As a bonus, I will teach you some fun Canadian words and share some of my favourite tourist spots! At the end of class you will get to share which dish you think you would most want to try, and ask any questions that you have about Canada or Canadians! (Think up some questions you have in advance of class!) So grab your toque off the chesterfield and join us in snowy Canada for this delicious and playful culinary adventure! I will be posting recipes of all of the dishes in the classroom after class so that you can make them for your family! I'll see you soon, eh???
