Calligraphy and Other Forms of Lettering: Volleyball Edition!
This is a one-time class where learners will be taught a new form of lettering, as well as learn how to do a fun volleyball themed craft.

In this one-time class, learners will be taught a new form of lettering that is fun and curly. As I am demonstrating how to form the letters, the learners will be expected to follow along on their own paper. The letters will only include lowercase letters. After the learners are taught how to form each letter, they will then be taught how to do the fun craft part of it. The craft will include learning how to draw a volleyball, and writing the letters that we learn in a way that goes with the volleyball theme. Learners do not need any previous experience or knowledge for the class.

Learners will need: - lined paper - gel pen - sharpie (optional) - paper (for the craft) - handout that will be sent into the classroom (optional)

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

I have a passion for both teaching and learning!
I love to work on many different kinds of crafting and DIY projects, especially calligraphy and other kinds of lettering. Teaching and doing creative things myself is actually very relaxing for me. I love it! I'm always trying to find new and fun ways to express myself and my creativity.
I have had the opportunity to gain quite a bit of teaching experience working with general and special education students within public and charter Elementary and Junior High Schools. I gained a lot of experience teaching reading groups, and am fully comfortable helping students with their reading skills. I am currently working on my degree in Special Education, so I am comfortable working with children of all backgrounds.
I love doing my best to make a difference in the lives of learners, and have found that teaching on Outschool is the best way I can fulfill that. I truly care about my learners and the progress that they make.
