Students will learn the basics of make-up and how to apply it. I am not a heavy make up user so it will really only be the basics.

Students will learn the basics of makeup application. We will look at how to wear mascara, eye shadow, blush, and lipstick. We will talk about the importance of skincare and the best way to remove makeup. Students should be comfortable asking questions and talking during class. The chatbox will be hard to manage in a class like this. This will be a laidback environment. I will encourage the students to keep themselves unmuted so we can talk and discuss things while they see how I apply my makeup. They are free to just watch or follow along and apply their own makeup. I know some families are using Outschool classes as parties to help keep their children in touch with friends. If you are interested in using this class in that way please let me know. I can add the number of participants. I would also be willing to offer a discount.

Parental Guidance
Please be sure the students are in a safe area to apply makeup. They will want a mirror to use or if it is safe they can use the camera on the computer. They will want to see what they are doing.
Supply List
Students will need the makeup they want to apply. I will be using blush, mascara, eye shadow, and lipstick. I recommend getting colors that the student will enjoy wearing. Most of my makeup has come from Walmart or Target.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Hello!
UPDATE: I am taking a break from Outschool. After the spring semester of 2024 ends, I will take a hiatus.
I offer a variety of science and math classes. I have close to ten years of teaching experience. I've worked with students of all ages including young adults. I experience teaching in the classroom and teaching virtually. I have a B.A. from Louisiana State University.
I've helped tutoring student reach their goals whether it's to pass a standardized test or get a passing grade in a course.
I think that a basic understanding of science enhances one's life. It opens up a world hidden to most people. Studying science and math helps children to develop critical thinking skills that can be applied to all areas of life. My goal in all my classes is to inspire the students to study science. I want them to always ask questions and to stay curious.
Please reach out to me if you don't see a time that works for your child. I will try to be accommodating if it is possible.
When I am not teaching or prepping for classes, I enjoy crafting, reading, working out, and spending time with my dog.
