Space is a vast area with many different objects other than the planets within our solar system. In this lecture-based course students will learn about these other elements including black holes, comets, stars and asteroids. Students should have an interest in some or all of these objects. Students are invited to join in on the discussion. They are free to ask questions or share comments as long as they adhere to my rule of exhibiting politeness to the class. Students will be able to identify different space objects. They will be able to discuss what a black hole is or a comet. They will be able to name a few different stars and the types of stars in space.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
