Class Experience
How many Sundays are in February? Which dates have 5 in the ones place? What day of the week is the 14th? Reading calendars and understanding how they work is an important life skill. As adults, we have spent years writing on calendars or in planners so that we go to appointments on the correct day. Why not teach your learner to keep track of his or her schedule now? Upon enrolling in this class I will provide a blank February calendar for you to print. Your learner will need to have it...
Students will be able to fill in and read a calendar and use it to answer math questions.
A blank February calendar page will be provided before class. Please print it so your learner can use it during class time.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
