In this fun one time class, learners will review the days of the week, learn which day come before or after a certain day. They will learn how many days are in a week, month and year. We will review some holidays each month is known for. They will then play a game which will allow them to guess the month from the picture of the holiday shown. Students will have to also give the date of the day described. Learners will describe the weather conditions on a certain date and whether it would be good for a given activity. We will discover the adventures of Lori the Lizzard for the month of October! Learners will also help Freddie the frog create an appointment calendar for the month of October! Please print this calendar out lanscape before class. It's attached in the Materials section. This will help students learn organizational skills!

Master's Degree in Science from University of Tennessee, Knoxville
I teach Science and Math classes for Outschool. I have a Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. I've had experience as a Chemistry lab instructor in undergraduate university. While in graduate school, I was a Teaching Assistant for General Chemistry classes for 8 semesters. Also, I was a Chemistry camp Assistant for "Fun with Forensic Chemistry".
I have worked internationally as a teacher and am TESOL certified. In South Korea, I taught high school Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Physical Science and Geometry. I taught English and Math from K-8 in South Korea as well.
