Class Experience

In this course, students will build their word problem solving skills, continuing to use addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division--only now, these skills will be used with ratios, fractions, and percentages. Students should be competent with 1- and 2-step word problems and should be familiar with the four math operations.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:Nearpod

No live meetings, and an estimated 4+ hours per week outside of class.

Nearpod is used for this class. Students will *not* need to create an account to join. A code will be provided each week for access to the lesson.
