Students will practice using persuasive public speaking skills as they present their candidate for best character. Please come prepared to defend your vote for BEST character with evidence from the episodes. You may also bring waffles to snack on during our class!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
This class is based on the TV show Parks and Recreation. It has a TV rating of TV-14, according to IMDB. I will not be showing video clips with any sexual innuendo, profanity, or references to alcohol, drugs or smoking. If these topics happen to arise in our discussions, I will bring the conversation back to appropriate material for all ages involved. We will be focusing on the humorous quotes and personalities of the characters.
