To ensure effective tutoring, the teacher suggests meeting 3x per week. Book additional recurring meetings after the initial purchase.Students will improve their phonemic awareness, phonics, reading through structured, direct, and multi-sensory lessons.
Homework Offered
Students should practice the letters/sounds and sight words throughout the week to prepare for the test on Friday. Students are highly encouraged to do repeated readings of any leveled readers or poems read in class.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
There will be a spelling test every Friday.Grades Offered
- Pencil - Multisensory material (shaving cream, beans in a tray, sand in a tray, etc.) - Red crayon - Mesh plastic canvas sheets - Whiteboard and marker
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
