In this class we will learn all about bees! The class will consist of an introduction, the "waggle dance" activity, a discussion with slides and finally a review. In the introduction, we will learn about where bees live, what they eat and how they communicate. Next we will learn the "waggle dance", the dance bees perform to each other to inform where to go to find flowers with rich nectar in it. We will practice our version of the "waggle dance" and then use this dance to communicate to each...
Students will learn about the importance of bees. They will be able to explain how bees communicate to find food, what pollination is and the different types of bees are.
