Class Experience
*Note - due to my 3 year old and my husband's current work schedule, I will not be able to schedule live classes until at least the fall. Please look into my flexible schedule version of this course in the mean time. Anxiety can be crippling for those who suffer from it. From full blown anxiety to nervousness, this course will teach our kids healthy and safe ways to manage and cope with anxiety. We will learn breathing techniques and I will be offering many other ways to cope with anxiety....
I am excited to present this class to you because I have extensive experience with teaching coping skills and anxiety management to middle and high schoolers. I have a degree in psychology with a concentration in child development. I worked with our local community service board in the school system for 8 years working with children and teens ages 3-18. I taught a weekly group about emotions, coping skills, and did individual counseling daily.
