As a former Investment Banker and certified Business Education Teacher,  I love teaching about businesses, how advertising influences product innovation, and stock marketing Investing!  My experience in the industry gives me a deep knowledge of business strategy and stock investing.   My students love the Business Battle course because the stories are compelling, involve famous companies they know, and teach important business concepts in a fun and entertaining way.  

Based on my extensive experience teaching this subject, I know how to make it interesting and memorable.  I use video clips and engaging photos and quotes  to make the content  easy to understand and remember.  This class is interactive, not lecture based, so students will have the opportunity to discuss, share experiences, and ask questions.  I will help students discover how current events, public opinion, and pressure from investors effect decisions and stock prices so they are more interested the world around them.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
To showcase company and economic news, we use Yahoo Finance (finance.yahoo.com). It is a free, well known and respected site for company news and financial information. We use Wall Street Survivor, and educational site with easy to follow, engaging videos on specific topics such as IPOs. 

All content used in this course is age appropriate and does not include any sensitive topics (political, sexual, violent, etc.).
