This class starts with a brief history of Myanmar, and the cultural place for dances in Myanmar history. This class is co-taught with another vetted teacher from the same background. After the brief lesson, participants will get on their feet and learn this traditional South Asian dance style! In a step-by-step demonstration, I will will perform each dance step for dancers to follow along. Then, we put all of the steps together for a final dance routine with music! After the dance, there will be a Q&A, where participants can ask the instructor about the dance, its history, and life performing historic dance.

Parental Guidance
Students will need a water bottle to stay hydrated, a proper open workspace, and comfortable clothing to move in. Injury may occur if students are not properly supervised. Please reach out if you have any questions about this, I'd be happy to help!
