Class Experience

US Grade 1 - 4
Beginner - Intermediate Level
Welcome to Building Writing Stamina. In this class we will learn how to improve our writing stamina and brainstorm writing ideas. In this class, we will practice our writing skills and be able to write for a longer time each week. Each learner might have a different time depending on how long they can write when we start the class.

Learners will get video lessons and activities to complete.
I will check in the class once a week. The check-in will usually be on Fridays. Feel free to message me if you need feedback or have questions sooner.

This is a flexible schedule class with no live meetings. All activities will be in the Outschool classroom.

Learners should have some experience with writing. Learners should be able to at least write a couple sentences. Knowing how to spell will not matter in this class as we are focusing on ideas and getting those ideas down on paper. The last week we will be able to fix any spelling errors as we edit and revise the stories or writings. Each learner might be at different writing skill levels and that is ok. This class works for any writing levels. We will start with where each learner is at in their writing journey and work towards writing more or writing for longer periods.
Learning Goals
Learners will improve their writing stamina which means the length of time to write. For example, they may be able to sit and write for 5 minutes and at the end of the class they write for 20 minutes at a time.
