Learners with previous knowledge of the Spanish language are welcome! This is a Spanish immersion class learners with an intermediate to advanced level learners can attend this class. The teacher will show slides/pictures to show what the students will need to build in class. The teacher will ask learners to pronounce the words of the thing that they will be requested to build. By building with snap cube/Interlocking cubes/Legos/bricks, learners will enjoy and learn through context, they will learn/practice vocabulary such as animals, vocabulary related to video games such player, remote control, play, parts of the body, soccer ball, feelings/emotions etc. Learners can express in English if they do not know how to do it in the target language. Intermediate and advanced level learners will be able to practice Spanish, they will also develop their listening and speaking skills. By choice learners will select to build on their own using their creativity or by following the steps shown by the teacher. The teacher will show steps to follow to build specific things but learners do not need to follow them as they are free to use their own ideas to build. On the last day, learners will be given challenges to build. Day 1: Building fruits Day 2: Building a rainbow Day 3: Building Animals Day 4: Building Minecraft characters (Vocabulary related to Minecraft such blocks, building, etc...) Day 5: Building flowers, a butterfly (Spring/summer vocabulary) Day 6: Building emojis (Feelings/emotions) Day 7: Building a soccer ball, soccer players, a trophy (Vocabulary related to soccer) Day 8: Building letters and words (Alphabet/spelling) Day 9: Building a house (Parts of a house) Day 10: Challenge! (Miscellaneous such as maze, bridge, skyscraper, etc...)
Learning Goals
Intermediate and advanced learners will practice and develop their Spanish knowledge as well as their speaking and listening skills. Students will build with blocks/bricks/legos.

¡Hola a todos! Bonjour tout le monde! Hello everyone!
I am multilingual, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Foreign Language Teacher Education and an Early Childhood Education Diploma. I speak Spanish, French, and English. I have also attended the following workshops/trainings in Canada: Science of Early Childhood Development-Play, Science of Early Childhood Development-Language and Literacy, Science of Early Childhood Development-Introductory Level, Transition Planning Intermediate Level, and Adult Education-Intermediate level. I have been teaching French and Spanish languages for over eight years. My students range from toddlers to adults. I have lived and worked in France and Mexico. Currently, I live in Canada.
I offer the following skills: Ability to engage students from a wide range of backgrounds, interactive lesson plans, good interpersonal skills and a passion for languages. I am an active listener and team player. I like to do crafting and science experiments with my family. I also enjoy learning to cook different kind of dishes, lately I have made Asian dishes such as brown rice and eggplant. I like travelling and I have learnt the culture of the languages that I teach where the languages that I speak are the mother tongues.
