I have completed a master's degree in education with a specialization in reading and literacy. My training includes techniques to improve reading comprehension, fluency, vocabulary, and writing skills.

For the past six years, I have taught Chinese students on the VIPKid platform. Most of my students are between the ages of 8 and 16. These one-on-one classes focus on English grammar, pronunciation, and conversational skills using full immersion language and online content. I have completed over 3,400 hours of classes with over 1,625 unique students. By adjusting to specific student needs and fostering a welcoming classroom environment, I maintained a 99.9% satisfaction rate (4,197 5-star ratings out of 4,204 total ratings).

I currently tutor students online in public schools all across the U.S., focusing on vocabulary, spelling, fluency, and reading comprehension. I also homeschool my youngest daughter, who is in 8th grade. I have homeschooled both of my daughters since preschool. My oldest is a straight-A 10th grade student at a local charter school. 

Homework Offered
I will send a worksheet for vocabulary practice after each class. This practice sheet is optional but highly encouraged to help your student retain and apply their knowledge.

Assessments Offered
We will review the past week's vocabulary words at the beginning of each class. This is also an opportunity for students to share their vocabulary worksheets if they choose to complete them as homework.
