In this one-hour class students will learn and practice the value of descriptive words in their creative writing. We will cover adjectives, adverbs, nouns and verbs as we engage in a simple exercise to illustrate the value of descriptive words. We will begin class with a simple review of each grammar term along with practice games to reinforce these terms. Students are encouraged to copy the charts provided by the teacher in order that they can refer to this information for writing...
Students will learn the value of descriptive words and phrases in their creative writing.
There will be no homework for this class, although I would encourage students to play with this fun method after class to reinforce their learning.
Students should come to class with a notebook, pencil and erasure.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
There will be no assessment for this class.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
