Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello! I'm Miss Ronnie. I look forward to being your teacher!
I have been working as a teacher for over 10 years. After graduating from university, I pursued my passion for teaching. During my teaching career, I have taught a wide range of subjects and ages.
My philosophy is that learning should be interactive, engaging and fun. I look forward to sharing my experience and knowledge through Outschool.
I look forward to meeting your learner in class!
Please see below for my policies:
CLASS RULES
I have three simple rules in all of my classes. They are:
- Be respectful of others
- Don't interrupt when others are talking
- Your microphone may be muted if you have excessive background noise
Generally, behavior issues in class are uncommon and are handled on a case-by-case basis to optimize the learning environment for all learners. I will send the parent a message after class if there is a concern in class.
SIBLING POLICY
It is common for more than one learner in a family to be interested in taking a class. As long as each learner is enrolled separately, that is no problem. Once each learner is enrolled separately, they are welcome to share a camera and screen to attend the class. Unenrolled family members should remain off camera during lesson time.
LEARNER AGE
If you are interested in registering a learner who falls outside the recommended age range of one of my classes, you're encouraged to send me a message to see if your learner would fit into a class if outside of the recommended age range. It is usually no problem as long as it doesn't compromise the learning experience of the other participants in the class.
STUDENT INFORMATION
If there is anything about your learner that I should be aware of as the teacher, you're encouraged to send me a message. I always appreciate hearing from parents about any specific concerns that may arise during class. This helps me to ensure the best possible learning experience for everyone in the class.
CLASS PREPARATION
Parents are encouraged to check the supply list in advance of the lesson to make sure that all necessary supplies are ready when class begins. If you are unable to have the supplies needed for a class, please send me a message so I can manage that situation for your learner in class effectively.
TECHNICAL ISSUES
If you encounter technical issues with class, you should reach out to support@outschool.com for assistance. Outschool's support system is excellent.

MISSED CLASSES AND CLASS RECORDINGS
If your learner has missed a class, you are encouraged to request the recording of the live class by sending me a message. Recordings of live classes are not automatically posted to the classroom. To protect the privacy of other learners in the class, recordings for social classes will not be shared. Makeup classes are not offered for missed classes.
Please feel free to reach out if you have any other questions. Strong parent-teacher communication helps to ensure that your child's experience in class is a positive one.
I look forward to seeing your learner in class!
