Hello again Parents and Students ! This class is being created in response to a growing demand among parents who want to help their students build their confidence in Middle School Math - or perhaps regain their confidence in Math after some incident. ________________________________________ Goals of Sessions The class will serve as a 1-1 study hall in which we will use current Math assignments students have to guide the sessions. The goal of the sessions will be to build student confidence in their Math abilities as part of becoming the best version of themselves ! ________________________________________ Example Topics and Themes Here are some example of modules and lessons that will be covered within the context of Middle School Math: Module 1: Basic Arithmetic Lesson 1: Introduction to Numbers • Concepts: Place value, number lines, and comparing numbers. • Examples: Demonstrations of number comparisons and placements. Lesson 2: Addition and Subtraction • Concepts: Techniques for adding and subtracting whole numbers, including regrouping. • Examples: Step-by-step solutions for practice problems.
