During this class, builders engage in an escape room style adventure as they use there building bricks to build solutions to riddles and problems to try to escape from an ancient pyramid. All builders participate in all parts of the challenge so the class is very interactive and hands-on. All builders should have a box of building bricks and mini-figure handy for class. Throughout the adventure, I will hold up items to show builders and share some items on my screen that I have created for this class. No external websites or links will be used. This is a hands-on, creative, very interactive building escape room style class. This is not a virtual escape room with direct questions and answers.

Builders should have access to a tub loose building bricks. If possible, builders should also have a base plate and a mini-figure.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Hello Families,
My name is Danielle Day. I have a passion for inspiring young learners! I have a degree in Elementary Education. I have taught in both homeschool and public elementary school settings over the the last 18 years. I have also taught ESL online. Aside from teaching, I have coached basketball and a Building Brick League Team. I think learning should be authentic, engaging, and fun! My husband and I have 3 sons. As a family, we enjoy playing games, reading, riding our bikes, building with building bricks, and exploring nature.
- If you do not see dates listed for a class, that does not mean that I'm no long teaching the class or that it isn't awesome. It just means that right now, I have more class ideas than available hours in the day. I try to balance opening a variety of classes and leaving myself some time to be able to accommodate requested classes.
