This lesson explores the fundamentals of nutrition, focusing on the roles of calories, carbohydrates, proteins, and fats in a healthy diet. Students will learn about the functions and sources of carbohydrates, including fiber and refined/unrefined carbs, and the importance of fat-soluble and water-soluble vitamins, and minerals.
