Welcome! During this neurodiverse-friendly one-time class, learners will come together in this discussion-based class to collaborate to create a short story. At the end of the class, the story that was created by the students will be messaged to each family. This short story will be a create-your-own adventure story, and each learner will play an important role in creating the story. This will start when the teacher (me!) creates a random set of characters, types of adventures, and sub-topics. After I pick out a random piece of paper with a plot idea from one of the magic hats, I will share it with the class for us to build our story together. Learners will have the opportunity to interact with me and their fellow learners throughout this one-time course in a discussion format. No experience is required for this course.
