Class Experience
During the 8 week class, we will cover the lessons 31-61 of Saxon 87: Homeschool Edition-3rd Edition. Students will need to have completed Saxon 76 or a similar level in order to take this class. If you are unsure what level you student should be placed at using the Saxon curriculum, I would highly suggest visiting the Saxon website and having your student taking the placement test. I have my Teaching Certificate from the state of Texas that allows me to teach all core subjects, grades 4-8. I have taught middle school math at our local public school, I have taught Saxon math on many grade levels to homeschoolers, and I have homeschooled my 3 children for the past 6 years. I have over 10 years of experience teaching math, history, science, reading and Language Arts.
