In this one-time class, students will build in Minecraft Creative mode. They will learn what a prepositions is, how to follow instructions, and how to calculate perimeter and area. Students will also have a mini grammar lesson, on prepositions. Students will use Minecraft's Creative Mode, to construct the teacher's already constructed building. This will be a step by step process. They will listen to instructions, or can read them from the slides, that contain preposition and very specific Minecraft building materials. These multiply step processes, will help with auditory processing, which improve skill-sets in reading comprehension and mathematical word problems. At the end of class, we will have the grand reveal! Will yours exactly match mine? We will have 5 minutes to share our builds and compare and contrast each others successes. Learning Goals

Students will learn to be respectful and patience in sharing time. Note: Students who are shy or relucent do not need to share.

Supply List
Learners will need another device with Minecraft Creative Mode. As well as to be able to access zoom,where there will be visuals and written instructions on what to build with the teacher. In Minecraft Creative mode, students will need to fill their hot bar with: sandstone, quartz, black, pink, red and grey wool, netherrack and flint and steel. They need to log into a flat world. Turn off fire spread in settings and set to always day.

She is trained in applications such as: Tinkercad, Acura, 3D printing, Virtual Reality software, electric circuits, and block programming with Scratch and Minecraft. She has 4 children who are gamers, Beyblade clingers, and outdoor enthusitist
Sumyia - is an ultrasound technician who has a Master's degree in biochemistry. She has 5 years as a ESL teacher and builds positive learning experiences through a personalized, interactive learning method. Sumiya, is also a mom whose children are avid Beyblade players.
