At Colwell's STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) Academy, we believe that not all education happens in the classroom. It is our mission to inspirer thinkers, tinkers, and problem- solvers that are invested in their learning by activating their five senses. Our highly trained and nationally certified teachers, are qualified in areas such as: Science and Technology, Music and the Arts, Autism and Gifted learners. Combined with 18 years of experience both in traditional classrooms and 6 years of on-line teaching, we are very excited to be offering you high-interest classes for children ages 5 to 15 years of age.

Sherri (Director) is a Canadian licensed teacher since 2005, she  obtained lots of professional development courses in: Autism intervention, Reading Recovery for Dyslexia, ADHD and Lexical Retrieval Students, and numeracy workshops. She is trained  in applications such as: Tinkercad, Acura, 3D printing, Virtual Reality software, electric circuits, and block programming with Scratch and Minecraft. She has 4 children who are gamers, Beyblade clingers, and outdoor enthusitist

Sumyia  - is an ultrasound technician who has a Master's degree in biochemistry. She has 5 years as a ESL teacher and builds positive learning experiences  through a personalized, interactive learning method. Sumiya, is also a mom whose children are avid Beyblade players.
