In this one-time class, students enjoy some fun Play-Doh build time with classmates (and strengthen their fine motor skills at the same time). Build an animal and share at the end.

Do you love creating with "play doh"? Want to build animals and share with classmates? Need a birthday activity? Want to strengthen fine motor skills? This class is time for fun play dough building animal creation! Come to class to build an animal and talk to classmates! After introductions and sharing what we will be doing and zoom manners briefly, students and teacher will create an animal out of play dough. Everyone will have time to share what they make at the end of class! I will encourage discussion and peer questions. If you're not sure of what animal to make, I have "challenge cards" that I pull at random. These challenges are themed such as making farm animals, reptiles, and more! I love teaching topics from the beautiful animals here on Earth to the gorgeous stars in the sky. I love incorporating reading, art and science all together. I have my Associate’s degree in Animal Science, Associate’s degree in Elementary Education, and my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Middle Dual Education with a specialization in Science. I am a certified teacher, and I am currently a substitute teacher and an Outschool teacher. I strive to support all my students in learning and welcoming them to a safe space. I encourage creativity, pursuing interests, and a passion for lifelong learning. I enjoy reading, writing, and being outside. A hobby that has always helped me relax has been drawing or painting.
