Class Experience

US Grade 3 - 6
Beginner Level
All children are welcome in my classroom! I teach in a fun, interactive way so students stay engaged and attentive. During the class, I post the weeks video on Monday morning central time and the class discussion post on Wednesday’s. You can answer, ask questions and comment on the classroom page or private message me. I am always happy to help! This class is not therapeutic in nature and students will not be asked to share private information. No homework will be given. Students will be asked to watch the video as well as engage with the discussion posts.

September 1st

Healthy versus Unhealthy relationships, some relationships show very little compromise, growth or respect. Let’s look at what a healthy relationship looks like.

September 7th

Challenging negative thoughts! Is this thought logical, is it exacerbated or remotely true or is my imagination running away with me?

September 14th

How can we be comfortable with uncomfortable emotions?

September 21st

Healthy boundaries. What do they look and sound like.

September 28th

Giver or taker? People pleasers, not standing up for ourselves? Sometimes quiet personalities get run over by more dominant and aggressive types. Are you an energy giver or taker?

The videos are shorter than a live class. Your child is welcome to pause, rewatch and take notes. Since this is not a live class with interaction, all of the information can be presented in a shorter time frame. Thus making it more informative and easier for students to sit through.
