I am a life skills coach, mother, grandmother, teacher, and community youth leader. I have heard many stories from children about being bullied, ignored, and misunderstood. I have also heard many stories about friendship, appreciation, and caring. It hurts to hear stories in the first three categories and I have made it a goal to help as many children as possible become confident in themselves. Why? It is in that confidence where our children can find strength, friends, appreciation, and caring.
No actual homework will be provided; however, extension activities will be given weekly. Examples of Extension Activities: 1) Learners will write a one-minute sales pitch describing their skills, interests, and experiences 2) Learners will research and analyze organizational mission statements
