Description
Class Experience
Students will learn basic computer science vocabulary and their applications. In addition, students will learn block coding syntax that they will be able to apply to their independent work.
As a Technology applications teacher I have taught this project to over 150 students in the state of Texas. The Game Design project is proven to be exciting and educational for all learners.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Students will be assessed on their prior knowledge on coding as well as perform an exit assessment at the end of the session.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Please note that the game lab does require students to be 13 and older. Students are not required to make an account but it is highly recommended to ensure students work is saved.
