In this ongoing weekly class, learners will practice creative story-telling techniques using different writing prompts each week. Learners can come and go as they wish, and the stand-alone classes will each cover a different topic. Students will improve their understanding of the writing process and will build a collection of their writing, while exploring different story-telling elements and techniques.
A notebook or journal is needed for this class to collect your writing each week. A simple hardback composition notebook works great. Learners will also need a pen or pencil, and basic art supplies (crayons, markers, color pencils, etc.) for illustrations and 'out-of-the-box' writing activities.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
