Students will improve their understanding of the writing process and will build a collection of their writing, while exploring different writing elements and techniques.
Learners will need a notebook to collect their writing. A simple hardback composition notebook works great. Learners will also need a pen or pencil, and (optionally) basic art supplies (crayons, markers, color pencils, etc.) for illustrations and for some 'out-of-the-box' writing activities.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
